RESIDENTS – IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT YOUR Utility Reimbursement Card PROGRAM PAYMENTS

The Housing Authority of the City Of Charleston is pleased to announce that we will soon be issuing Utility Payments on the U.S. Bank ReliaCard^®. While you are currently receiving your payments on a Keybank prepaid card, as of February 1, 2025, these funds will be loaded onto a ReliaCard.

The ReliaCard is a convenient and secure way to receive your payments:

• Payments are automatically loaded to your card.
• You may make purchases, get cash, pay bills anywhere Visa is accepted.
• Funds are protected if your card is lost or stolen.

If you remain eligible for payments through the Utility Reimbursement Payment Program:

• Your ReliaCard will be delivered by  January 31, 2025

• All payments made beginning February 1, 2025, will automatically be loaded to your ReliaCard.
• You must choose a new Personal Identification Number (PIN) when you set up your ReliaCard.
• The activation instructions, usage guide, Cardholder Agreement, and Fee Schedule will be included with your ReliaCard. Make sure to read and save this important information for your files.
