Housing Authority of the City of Charleston will accept ONLINE preliminary applications for Public Housing.
The designated date will be the ONLY day available to apply.

Online applications will start at 12:00 Noon and remain open until each waitlist has been filled or 1:00 pm EST., whichever occurs first.

Applicants must complete the online application at https://chacity.myhousing.com/ during the designated timeframe.
No applications will be accepted by mail, fax, or e-mail.
You may complete your online application by cell phone, tablet, or computer with internet access or Wi-Fi.
If you are a person who is unable to complete an online application due to a physical or mental impairment, such as blindness, amputation (HANDS), etc., please call The Housing Authority of the City of Charleston on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 , between the hours of 10:00 am and 12:00 pm to complete a phone screening for a reasonable accommodation at (843) 377-1818.
