Wait List Opening for Project-Based Vouchers
Development – Archer School Apartments
The Housing Authority of the City of Charleston will be accepting ONLINE preliminary applications for the Project Based Vouchers for Archer School Apartments (55 years and older only).
The designated date will be the ONLY day available to apply.
Tuesday, December 17, 2024: One (1) and Two (2) Bedrooms
Online applications will start at 12:00 Noon and remain open until each waitlist has been filled or 1:00 pm EST., whichever occurs first.
Those wishing to apply must complete the online application at www.chacity.org during the designated timeframe. No applications will be accepted by mail, fax, or e-mail.
You may complete your online application by cell phone, tablet, or computer with internet access or Wi-Fi.
If you are a person who is unable to complete an online application due to a physical or mental impairment, such as blindness, amputation (hands), etc., please call The Housing Authority of the City of Charleston on Monday, December 16, 2024, between the hours of 10:00 am and 12:00 pm to complete a phone screening for a reasonable accommodation at (843) 377-1818.
Should you qualify for a reasonable accommodation, you will be set up for an appointment to complete the application on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Should you NOT qualify for a reasonable accommodation, you will be asked to complete the waitlist application online on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 12:00 Noon.
